make a plan for family mail & paperwork so they don’t end up in a pile on the kitchen counter

When people are renovating, I find that they often forget to factor in daily mail, paperwork, homework, notes, etc. If they don't have somewhere to live, they'll end up in a pile on the counter. Make a plan for where these items can live now instead of making them an afterthought.
